The Chainsmokers have quite the interesting story... .. ..It was a winter Wednesday night in NYC 2007 and both Rhett and Alex were out and about. At the time, Rhett had never met Alex and vice versa. Nevertheless, at that time Alex was hosting a table at Marquee wednesdays through the wonderful GBH...times were tough money was needed and free alcohol was key. The party generally sucked, Long Island's finest and retarded FIT girls (we love you FIT! just not all of you) The night went on and the party was winding down, in fact it was DEAD! BUT good old Marquee has a rule you must stay till 3:30AM or no money. So, Alex sat there all alone with a full bottle of vodka chainsmoking ciggs and watching the clock wishing a lightening bolt would strike him down or the place would set fire. .... Neither happened, but something much more amazing did. Suddenly a strapping young gentleman in a leather jacket looking like he had just finished a 2 week bender (he probably had) walked up to the table and introduced himself (I think, these details are a bit hazy as we were both shit faced) So lets assume we did..... That was the first interaction with Les Chainsmokers...Alex, who was excited to have finally met a dude that was cool and not wearing G Star with some Air Force Ones and a button down shirt said " Listen man sit down we are going to hang out we have an entire bottle lets get shitty (we were both already wasted)".... Half a bottle later we were deep on conversation about NYC girls, drugs, music, music and more music. .... Not exactly sure what happened the rest of the night but, from that moment on Rhett and Alex would hang out everywhere share girls together (Marya and Julia holler at us!), whiskey, music, joints, you name it...the dynamic duo of sorts, except we openly recognize that were are both pussbags...It was only a matter of time that we realized NYC music sucked and there needed to be an injection of bananas into it....... Individually Rhett and Alex had been listening to music all their lives, and amassing a serious collection of music throughout all genres. Then, suddenly the time came when they looked at each other, most likely at 1Oak and said, "I cannot take this shit anymore we have got to DJ and take over." So they combined collections set up the equipment and got to mixing..... A year later we are spinning parties, bringing a rage room dance energy, getting absolutely housed, spontaneously playing the "Full House" theme song, dancing our faces off and blowing speakers all over NYC. .. Now, the Chainsmokers's name came about in a very obvious way. We smoke. A lot. Naturally, the name backfired as ciggs cost 10+ dollars in NYC and now we are going broke while we're killing ourselves. We tried for a sponsorship with Phillip Morris but we were flat out denied. They sent us a serious letter claiming that we "weren’t Phillip Morris material." Hmmm, whatever (maybe a cigarette sponsorship is not the best idea) Look out for the Chainsmokers in a city near you before we develop a ridic black lung....... ..puff puff weeze weeze.. ......-les Chainsmokers......

Demi Lovato: Lovato started in show business as a child and rose quickly. At fifteen, she was a bona fide TV star cultivating a promising singing career. In the late 2000s, while maintaining a rigorous TV and film shooting schedule, Lovato released two massively successful solo albums, Don’t Forget (2007) and Here We Go Again (2009); the former debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, the latter at #1.

Demi Lovato had a phenomenal start to 2013. Spurred by first-week sales of 215,000, “Heart Attack,” the first single off her fourth album Demi, debuted at #1 on the iTunes’ chart in over 25 countries (including the U.S.) and #12 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single achieved Platinum status in the U.S. and Canada within weeks of its release. “Heart Attack” became the most added song on Top 40 Radio in the U.S. the week it premiered, and just hit #6 at Top 40 Radio with over 67 million in audience. The song was produced by The Suspex and co-written by Lovato.

Demi, which was released in 2013, is Lovato’s most personal album to date, and is an affirming celebration of life. Lovato co-wrote nearly every song on Demi, along with a team of top producers and writers including TheSUSPEX (Mitch Allan & Jason Evigan), Priscilla Renea, Ryan Tedder, Emanuel “Eman” Kiriakou, Carl Falk, Rami Yacoub, Savan Kotecha, Ali Tamposi, The Monsters & Strangerz, Jonas Jeberg, Anne Preven and Matt Rad.

“Give Your Heart a Break,” Lovato’s second and final single off of her third studio album, Unbroken (2011), received critical acclaim from contemporary music critics, praising the production as well as Lovato’s vocals. “Give Your Heart a Break” spent 32 weeks on the Hot 100 in 2012 and reached #1 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart. The song also reached #1 status at both Mediabase and Broadcast Data Systems (BDS) in the Top 40 format. “Give Your Heart a Break” has sold over 1,800,000 digital copies, and was officially certified Platinum in the United States. The first single off Unbroken, “Skyscraper,” debuted at #1 on the iTunes chart, #2 on the Billboard Hot Digital Singles chart, and #10 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song has sold over 1,300,000 digital copies and was also officially certified Platinum in the United States.

Over the years, Lovato’s fans have only become more supportive. Lovatics, as they call themselves, won MTV’s “The Big & Best of 2012: Last Fans Standing” contest, topping Lady Gaga’s Little Monsters and Britney Spears’ Team Britney army. Lovato was an early adopter on social media, and has developed incredible support across her various networks, allowing her to engage and communicate directly with her fans across the globe.

With all of her professional accomplishments, Lovato remains devoted to giving back. In 2011, in order to raise awareness about personal issues similar to her own, Lovato became a Contributing Editor to Seventeen magazine. She used Seventeen as a platform to discuss her personal issues as a part of a larger campaign called “Love is Louder than the Pressure to Be Perfect,” directed towards teen girls. After revealing that she had been bullied at the age of 12, Lovato has also supported numerous anti-bullying organizations. In 2012, she was named the ambassador for Secret’s “Mean Stinks,” an anti-bullying campaign to inspire students to “gang up for good” against girl-to-girl bullying. She also serves as an official Ambassador for the youth empowerment event We Day and the organization Free the Children, which works domestically and internationally to empower young people to remove barriers that prevent them from being active local and global citizens. Lovato appeared on a celebrity edition of The Price Is Right, earning almost $50,000 for Free the Children. She launched the Demi Lovato Charity Boutique on eBay, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the organization to help children in developing communities around the world.

Charlie Puth: A Berklee College of Music Alum, Charlie Puth originally performed as a duo with Emily Luther. Puth gained worldwide notice after the release of his single "Marvin Gaye" featuring Meghan Trainor, as well as for his performance on the Wiz Khalifa single "See You Again."

Kesha: The electro-pop phenomenon known as Kesha burst onto radio with one of 2009's biggest singles, "Tik Tok", and has become one of the industry's top digital sellers, releasing club banger after club banger. She is audacious, slightly scandalous, but she knows how to ride a hot track. Use Eventful as your source for Kesha tour dates and concert schedule information.

The bold singer got her start after being discovered by Dr. Luke and Max Martin who noticed her talent for songwriting and her production ear. She was first featured on Flo Rida's #1 single, "Right Round", singing the hook before "Tik Tok", became the world's best selling single of 2010 with nearly thirteen million copies sold. Kesha released her debut album, Animal, in January, 2010 where it debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. The hits kept on coming with "Blah Blah Blah", "Your Love Is My Drug", and "Take It Off" all becoming top ten singles. Kesha tour dates were scheduled on the opening stage for Rihanna's Last Girl on Earth Tour, and she became a worldwide phenomenon.

Kesha returned in November, 2010 with the EP, Cannibal, which featured the #1 single "We R Who We R". By the end of 2010, Kesha won the MTV Europe Music Awards for Best New Act and sold over 30 million digital downloads. Kesha has already dominated 2011 with her single "Blow" and she wrote Britney Spears hit "Til' The World Ends" and appeared on the remix of the track. Kesha is on the verge of a pop revolution and dominated the airwaves for two years.
